Physiology Students Learn Surgical Techniques at UC Irvine Medical Center

CHAS Physiology students visited the UC Irvine Medical Center on April 10th, 2018. They learned about the history of surgery from a Urology professor and then participated in surgical skill rotations where they learned how to suture wounds, tie off blood vessels, perform laparoscopic techniques, remove bladder stones with a cystoscope and use the da Vinci robot to perform laparoscopic surgery.
